Greek Life

Greek Life

Since 1906, the Temple University fraternity and sorority community has been a vibrant part of campus life. Today Temple University’s Greek community has grown to consist of 36 organizations and over 1,000 undergraduate members. These organizations share the same core values and create smaller communities within the larger university environment.

Through fraternity or sorority involvement, students gain an opportunity for leadership development, academic support, community service, friendship, and social growth. The creeds and rituals that guide each individual organization are based on values that foster an understanding of community and social responsibility.

Student Activities serves as a liaison between recognized Greek letter organizations and the greater Temple University community. We are dedicated to the holistic development of students throughout their fraternal experience and welcome you to explore the possibilities offered by Greek involvement at Temple University.
