Being a Good Neighbor

Hear from our neighbors about what this community means to them.

Some residents have also made some suggestions on how to be a Good Neighbor while attending Temple University.

  1. Respect your block. This is your neighborhood!​

  2. Learn about the history of the neighborhood.​

  3. Be friendly and courteous. Say hello/introduce yourself when passing in the street.​

  4. Participate in university events and cleanups in the neighborhood.​

  5. Be aware of your block's trash and recycling days

  6. Be mindful of your noise.​

  7. Be an active participant in your ​community.​

  8. Advocate for yourself and your ​neighbors. Hold your peers ​accountable.​

  9. Be a responsible pet owner.​

  10. Walk, bike, or utilize public ​transportation methods including ​SEPTA.
