Ariana Ali-Yerima is a junior public health major with a minor in healthcare management from Burtonsville, Maryland. Ariana is enrolled in the 4+1 accelerated Master of Public Health program with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences. Ariana is a resident assistant and current vice president of the National Health Education Honorary Chapter (ESG) here at Temple. She enjoys photography, nature, and Dunkin' Donuts.
In her recommendation of Ari, Associate Professor, Dr. Melody J. Slashinski, shares “that Ari is creative, compassionate, dedicated, and passionate about Temple, public health, and her community. Often donned in Temple gear, she supports innovative ideas and projects and revives neglected ideas and projects and she is the first one to volunteer for projects. While only in her junior year, Ari is already making important contributions to her field. I have no doubt she will continue making important contributions and wherever she goes will represent what it means to be Temple Made.”
