Erin is a senior majoring in computer science with a minor in mathematics. After graduating this spring, she will begin work as a software engineer for L3Harris in Rochester, NY. On campus, Erin is the president of Temple Tappers, a student-run tap dance club, and Temple ACM-W, a computing organization that supports women and non-binary people in technology fields; she is also a member of the Honors program and volunteers as Honors ambassador to assist in the recruitment of new students. She is an avid Temple food truck connoisseur and a lover of all things Broadway, crochet, and Star Wars. 

Claudine Pine-Simon, Assistant Professor of Instruction in the College of Science and Technology, shares of Erin “Committed to encouraging women to explore computer science, she organizes and coordinates STEM workshops. She initiates very creative and dynamic agendas. Erin simply inspires and energizes her peers. Under her leadership, ACM-W (Association for Computing Machinery for Women), the group's membership has exploded. Her research is also very impressive. She has been awarded the Natan Luehrmann Cowen Memorial Award which recognizes outstanding seniors in the College of Science and Technology who demonstrate “academic excellence and who demonstrated achievement in playing a musical instrument (in Erin’s case as an accomplished oboe and bassoon player” Erin is Temple made, but students like Erin make Temple. Just as she has left her mark on Temple, she will make her mark on the world”.
