Being a Temple student means figuring out who you are. Students will engage in exploring their unique identities and interests, giving them insight into their potential and place in the world. They will gain practical experience to navigate the complexities of life while attending to their own well-being. This includes learning how to identify their needs and advocate for them productively. As a result, students will develop into the best and most authentic version of themselves.
Students will use their discovery of self to build and maintain meaningful relationships with others. As they seek to understand and know others, they will learn not only to communicate across difference but will listen to relate. Ultimately, they will find their place and feel valued for who they are and what they contribute broadly, finding and creating a sense of belonging for themselves and others.
Uniquely positioned in the heart of North Philadelphia, Temple students will engage in experiences locally, nationally, and globally. By holding themselves and their peers accountable to the highest standard, students demonstrate respect, mutual care, and commitment to others.
