CARE Team
Temple University’s CARE Team (Crisis, Assessment, Response, Education Team) is a multidisciplinary body of stakeholders from across the university which receives referrals pertaining to students exhibiting behaviors that arouse concern, collects additional information, and then identifies and enacts appropriate strategies for addressing the situation.
Students can be referred to the CARE Team for concerns related to observable behavior such as
- unusual or erratic behavior,
- extended absences,
- threats towards others,
- expressions of suicidal intent,
- troubling themes or references in work, or
- other safety-threatening actions.
If your concern is an emergency, please contact Temple University Public Safety at (215) 204-1234.
Specialized Student Support
The Essential Needs Hub offers specialized programs and services that advance the success and well-being of all of our students, including first-generation, parenting, military-connected, and commuting students.
