HSC Campus Activities at the Student Faculty Center

HSC Campus Activities are sponsored by the Temple University General Activity Fee (GAF) and hosted by the SFC Activities and Operations (SFCAO) office. All events are free, unless otherwise stated. Some events require registration and have caps to the amount of students that can attend. All attendees or winners of prizes must be current HSC students, including Podiatry students.

  • Welcome Week 8/24/26-8/28/26
    • Monday 8/24: OwlConnect Giveaway
      • Win a Heavyslime T-Shirt of your choice!
      • Download the Suitable app and make sure you login to it! HSC Students with the app will receive a clue at 4pm on Monday with how to win!
    • Tuesday 8/25: Podiatry Cheesesteak Buffet
      • 3rd Floor Student Lounge, 12pm to 1:30pm
      • Enjoy beef, chicken and veggie cheesesteaks, with some desserts!*
        • *All allergens will be labeled. Rolls contain gluten and food may be in contact with gluten
      • Students who check in will receive chances to win one of a metric ton of Philly themed prizes and gift baskets!
    • Wednesday 8/26: SFC Cheesesteak Buffet, so nice we did it twice!
      • First Floor Lobby, 11:45am to 1:30pm
      • Enjoy beef, chicken and veggie cheesesteaks, with some desserts!*
        • *All allergens will be labeled. Rolls contain gluten and food may be in contact with gluten
      • Students who check in will receive chances to win one of a metric ton of Philly themed prizes and gift baskets!
    • Thursday 8/27: Virtual Bingo on Zoom
      • 7:05pm sharp!
      • Sign-ups are here! Those who sign-up will receive a link to the Zoom the day of
      • Over $600 of prizes given away!
    • Friday 8/28: OwlConnect Giveaway Part Deux
      • Win some gear and items from South Fellini!
      • At a random time of the day, HSC Students who have the Suitable App and are logged in will receive a notification telling them how to win!
        • We'll be doing these throughout the Fall and Spring so don't delete the app!

  • PA Museum Hospital Ticket Giveaway 9/2/26
    • Take some time to go to the brand new PA Museum Hospital, showcasing the history of healthcare in the US in the country's first permanent hospital!
      • NYC Bellevue is not the first despite their claims! The SFCAO office stands 10 toes down on this.
    • 50 students will be randomly selected to receive a pair of tickets!

  • Pizza and Play: Magic the Gathering 9/9/26
    • SFC Game Room 12pm to 1pm
    • Whether you're a seasoned veteran, always wanted to play newbie, or just want pizza, join us for some quick games of Magic the Gathering led by seasoned professionals from the HSC Library!
    • Free pizza, free cards and beginner friendly!
  • National Art's in Education Week 9/14/26
    • Inspire your creative side and enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Philadelphia Museum of Art!
    • 50 students will be randomly selected to win a pair of tickets!
  • September Bingo 9/24/26
    • 7:05pm like always! Get your fingers ready to win some prizes*!
      • *I promise the dental school is not rigging it, they just show up the most!

  • National Coffee Day 9/29/26
    • Throughout the day, stop by the Ginsberg Health Sciences Library & the Krausz Library of Podiatric Medicine to get a cup of coffee (or tea) and some snacks!
