FAQs

How much does it cost to use the HSC Cherry Pantry?

Nothing! This is a free service for current HSC students. When submitting your form online, you will see $ next to each item, but think of that as points. For example, $5 = 5 points.

How many points per week do students get?

Students get 16 points per week (Monday - Sunday). You cannot go over your alloted weekly point total. Each Monday, points reset for every student.

How many cherry pantry requests can we submit per week?

For now, students can only submit 1 request per week (Monday - Sunday), regardless of how many points their used in their submission.

Can I choose the exact items that I would like in my order?

Unfortunately, no. Bags will be packed up at random, depending on availability. There are a few items where you can submit your preference (for example, rice as your grain), but there is no guarantee. Stock comes in and out on a weekly basis in our pantry, so items will be put together based on what we have.

Once I submit my request, how long will I hear back before I can pick my items up?

Please give our office at least 3 business days to put your order together. Sometimes, items may be available to pick up sooner. You will receive a follow-up email when your order is ready for pick up.

Can I email my request as opposed to using the form online?

No, you must use the link here so submit your request. If you are having issues with submitting your form online, please email sfc@temple.edu.

Can I just come to the SFCAO Office to put my pantry bag together?

No, this service is fully online based, so students cannot come to our office to put their bag together.

I am a student in the School of Podiatric Medicine and am not on the HSC Campus, but would like to participate. How would I do so?

You can submit a request any time you would like, just like any other HSC student. A member of our office will be delivering Podiatry student's bags once per month with days to be determined. If you would like to plan to order around that date, which is typically the third week of the month, please email sfc@temple.edu for more details.
