Repair Room at the Hub

Join our pop-up events to learn skills and get support with repair services for bikes, clothing, and small personal items, all through the lens of sustainability. Check out our events page to browse upcoming Repair Room programming and find an event that interests you.

Have repair skills you’d like to share? Whether you’re a tinkerer, problem-solver, builder, or someone who enjoys fixing and modifying things, we’d love to hear from you. Fill out the Essential Needs Hub Volunteering Interest Form and tell us about your skills and interests. We’ll be in touch!

Secondhand Cycles

Secondhand Cycles is Bike Temple’s bicycle surplus program. Through this program, abandoned bicycles from campus are refurbished and made available to Temple students. The Essential Needs Hub partners with the Office of Sustainability to help connect students with affordable transportation resources through this program. Applications open periodically based on bicycle availability. Check back for updates on future application periods. If you have questions, please contact  or

Office Supply Swap

The Temple University Office Supply Swap is a program that promotes waste minimization and reuse. Surplus office supplies are made available for free to the university community. Temple administrators, faculty, staff and students can drop off surplus office supplies or "shop" for what is needed in the lower level of the Student Center outside of the Cherry Pantry or on the first floor outside of the Office of Sustainability.
