The Sex Ed Bakeshop is exploring bodily autonomy, consent, and access--decorating cookies as our favorite forms of contraception. Join the Sex Ed Bakeshop and YES! (Your Empowered Sexuality) Sex Educator, Janielle Bryan, for a FREE workshop about creating craveable choices.
Expand your thinking about abortion access with the frame of reproductive justice, and cookies as your medium to explore your relationship to contraception. Prepare to be fueled by meditation, research, and personal narratives and leave with to-go treats and tools for further exploration.
This workshop's self-reflective activities are not only delicious (because we WILL eat as we decorate!) but lay the foundation for learning and/or becoming more familiar with contraception options, the barriers that exist to our reproductive health care, the most impacted by US abortion laws and bans, as well as tips for talking to people aged 5-105 about Reproductive Justice. We Heart Access is part of a larger social practice project by the Sex Ed Bakeshop, called We Insist on Sex Ed Recipes (WISER). Participants will be invited to share documentation of their "Accessible Contraception Cookies" and personal narratives for the online WISER We Heart Access recipe archive.

Recreation Is My Therapy
The Recreational Therapy team is excited to announce dates for Fall 2025 Recreation Is My Therapy sessions! All Temple students are welcome to join. Sign up to ensure you have a spot saved for this semester!
Recreation Is My Therapy is a 7 week project run by senior level Recreational Therapy students. It is free and open to all Temple Students. This year's sessions will be at Paley Hall - exact locations will be sent to students who register. We do ask that students come to all sessions with the understanding that this is not always possible. The first session is an assessment of recreation interests and goals for the semester. The next six use enjoyable activities to support goal attainment.
All sessions are run at Paley Hall. Location details will be shared with people who register prior to the events.

DREAM (Disability Rights, Education, Activism, and Mentoring), an online Disability Cultural Center, is excited to share their Fall 2026 event lineup including workshops, panel discussions, and film screenings focused on disability community, leadership, advocacy, higher education, and the arts. These events are free and open to anyone interested in disability culture and justice.

· Disabled High School Students Preparing for College with Jen Montag
· The transition from high school to college can be exciting, uncertain, and challenging for disabled students. This webinar will explore what disabled high school students can expect as they prepare for college, including navigating accommodations, practicing self-advocacy, building support systems, and adjusting to academic and social changes.

Fire Through Dry Grass Film Screening and Discussion
· Join us for a screening and discussion of Fire Through Dry Grass, a documentary exploring disability justice, community, and activism during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the experiences of disabled residents organizing within a nursing home, the film highlights the power of collective advocacy, storytelling, and resistance in the face of systemic ableism. Following the screening, participants will engage in a discussion reflecting on disability justice, community care, and the ongoing fight for accessibility and dignity.

· Join us for a screening and discussion of Shot in the Dark, a documentary about disability, perception, and creativity through the lives of blind photographers who use their cameras to explore how we see and understand the world. Following the screening, participants will engage in a discussion reflecting on disability, creativity, and access.
