Social XChanges is a group to address the social/recreation needs of autistic students and students with social and communication challenges. Each week the group gathers to discuss their challenges and successes of the week, and get peer support in areas such as making friends, dealing with professors, or transitioning into and out of university life. The meeting is followed by a recreational activity on campus or in the city. Past activities include bowling, visiting museums, rock climbing, karaoke, and playing table games. Attending the group is a wonderful way to make new friends and feel connected to the Temple University community.
If you are interested in joining the group, please email Amalia Hubal to get more information.
