Undergraduate residence halls will close on Saturday, November 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. and will re-open on Sunday, November 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
Students will be required to vacate their University housing assignment by 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2026 unless they have registered for break housing. Break registration will be available on MyHousing beginning on Monday, October 5, 2026. Break registration will turn off on Friday, November 13, 2026.
The last meal served prior to this break will be lunch on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The first meal upon return from this break is dinner on Sunday, November 29, 2026.
Fall & Spring Break Departure Checklist
- Take valuables home with you.
- Unplug all electrical devices except your refrigerator.
- Remove all trash and perishable foods from the room.
- Turn off air conditioner (Johnson & Hardwick residents only)
- Close and lock all doors and windows.
- Sign the 1/2 sheet on your door on your way out.
- Reminder: you will not have access to your residence hall during any break period unless you are registered for break.
