Each residence hall has a mailroom at which students may receive letters and packages. You should receive either a key or a combination to your assigned mailbox during check-in. Larger packages are delivered and can be picked up at each residence hall's front office. It is important that the room or apartment number is included on all letters and packages.
Express Mail/Package Information
To send/receive expedited packages it is best to use FedEx or UPS as both carriers send packages directly to the campus, including on Saturdays. We do not recommend sending express mail packages via USPS as there is a delay in these packages coming to campus - USPS does not deliver any mail directly to housing buildings and mail is not picked up from USPS sorting facilities on weekends.
Is there a Post Office on campus?
No. However, on Main Campus, there is a UPS store in the lower level of the Student Center to buy stamps and send UPS, DHL, and USPS mail and packages. The UPS Store offers mailing supplies and accepts credit cards and Diamond Dollars.
Each residence hall's mailing address is listed below.
We suggest that you notify your family, friends, bank, magazine subscriptions, etc., of your new address before you move in. Mail and packages are not accepted at any residence hall prior to move-in.
Including Temple University in the address is not only unnecessary, but it may also delay receiving mail. Residence halls are not served directly by the U.S. Postal Service - mail is picked up at USPS sorting centers in the city of Philadelphia Monday-Friday.
To send mail or a package ahead of time, please visit Mail Services section to get mailing addresses for on-campus residents to ensure proper delivery of mail or packages.
