5 Things to Know about the Housing License:
- You are agreeing to live in on campus housing for the full academic year (August - May).
- You must be registered for at least 12 credits by the start of the semester and no later than the end of the Drop/Add to remain in University Housing.
- All new students, which includes transfer students, are required to have a meal plan.
- By agreeing to the housing license, students are also agreeing to the terms in the Temple University Student Code of Conduct and the UHRL Community Living Standards. Students should review both of these using the menu on the left side of this page.
- Students who need to remain on-campus during University break periods must submit a break housing request on MyHousing. There is no charge for fall or spring breaks, but there is a $300 flat fee for winter break.
Terms and Conditions
Students are required to agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Housing License and Dining Services Agreement in the housing application prior to selecting a room assignment. Students enter into a legally binding contract for the full academic year upon securing on-campus housing. We highly suggest that students and their families read the Terms and Conditions to fully understand the expectations prior to confirming a room assignment.
