Summer Housing

Undergraduate Summer Housing

The Undergraduate Summer Housing Application will be available on MyHousing beginning Monday, April 1 and will be available throughout the summer sessions. Students interested in summer housing must be registered for summer courses for at least 3 credits. To complete the application: 

  • Log into MyHousing via TUportal, then click on the "Summer Housing Application" link on the top navigation bar.
  • Complete the following steps:
    • Sign an Undergraduate Summer Housing License (if you are under 18 years of age, it will prompt you for a parent or guardian signature as well)
    • Confirm emergency contact information, and
    • Confirm which summer session you will need housing and confirm if you will also need transition housing for either before or after the summer session

Please note, summer applications will be reviewed on a rolling bases. We reserve the right to assign students together in summer housing as availability allows.

Graduate Summer Housing  
Graduate students who currently live in graduate housing may be eligible for the following summer options. Graduate students are not required to be registered for summer courses/credits to be eligible for summer housing.

  • Current residents who are confirmed to be returning to graduate housing for the next academic year (2024-2025) can request to stay during the months of June and July 
  • Current residents who are not planning to return to graduate housing for the next academic year (2024-2025) can request to stay through June 23, 2024.
  • Current residents who decide not to stay for summer will need to move out by the end date of the housing contract which is Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Please note, summer housing is not included in the academic year rate and does come at an additional cost. Once summer housing rates have been determined, they will be available here.

To apply for summer housing, graduate students need to submit the "Graduate Summer Intent" request on MyHousing. The Summer Intent request is available from Monday, April 1 through Wednesday, May 1, 2024. 

  • Log into MyHousing via the TUportal
  • Go to  "Academic Year Housing" in the top navigation bar
  • Go to "Manage Application" for the current academic year
  • Click the "Graduate Summer Intent Request" image on your Quick Links page
  • Choose which summer housing option applies to you
  • Confirm and Submit
