Temple University prides itself on its use of technology for students to stay connected and engaged in and out of the classroom.

We offer a variety of services in and out of the residence halls to connect to campus resources while with us. In this section students can learn more about connecting to the University's systems in the residence halls, using telephone and cable services.

Telephone Service
All residence halls will have a security phone on each floor. Residents should become familiar with these phone locations.

Smartphone Tip: If you do not receive a strong cellular signal in your room, try using Wi-Fi Calling - a feature on many newer-model iPhones and Andriod phones that enables you to make and recieve calls over a wireless network.  Search for Wi-Fi Calling on your carrier's website to see if your device supports this feature and how you can enable it. Note: For international calls, the rates from your calling plan apply for Wi-Fi calling.

Live on campus? You have free access to Xfinity Stream, so you can watch live TV, movies, and shows on any device. It’s all included with your student log in.

  • Step 4: Log in using your school credentials
