Living Learning Communities (LLCs) are residential communities of students and faculty who share a common interest.
Each LLC is developed with a specific population in mind and has dedicated professional and student staff members. Staff and Faculty work to develop an intentional co-curriculum based on the theme of each LLC, and work with student staff living on the floors to create an experiential community. Participating in an LLC comes with many connections and benefits, including priority room selection!
LLC Program Goals
- Develop partnerships with faculty and staff
- Dialogue with peers about academic and social issues outside the classroom
- Increase satisfaction with overall academic experience and persist at a higher rate
- Enhance students’ connection with Temple University and the city of Philadelphia
How to Apply:
The LLC application will be visible in MyHousing on the Quick Links page after a student's housing application has been completed.
- For returning students: the LLC application will be available from January 16, 2026 - February 9, 2026. LLC priority room selection will occur between February 12 - February 16, 2026.
- For new and transfer students: the LLC application will be available from March 9, 2026 - May 7, 2026. LLC priority room selection will occur between April 13, 2026 - May 7, 2026.
