Meal Equivalencies

Meal Equivalency

Students are able to use a meal swipe in retail locations as a dollar amount off of their purchase, as opposed to using the all-you-care-to-eat dining.

When used as meal equivalency, the value of a meal varies by meal period. For the 2023-2024 academic year, the value of an equivalency is:

  • During breakfast (from open until 10:59 a.m.): $7.05
  • During lunch and dinner (from 11:00 a.m. until close): $9.75

In both cases, you would then use Diamond Dollars, credit, or cash to cover the cost of any remaining balance. Please note, the Diamond Dollars option will be ending at the conclusion of the spring 2024 semester.
